At Alta joinery timber is our passion. 

We create bespoke joinery and furniture with time honoured techniques to the highest standard. Uncompromising in our attention to detail, timber selection, manufacturing processes and finishing we manufacture both traditional and contemporary works.   

We work with both commercial and domestic clients to manufacture a range of bespoke products specialising in box sash and casement windows, doors and staircases as well as fitted and individual pieces of furniture such as tables and chairs. Our services are also often called upon to create truly unique office and shop fit outs all in a range of high grade timbers.

Here at Alta we look at the timber that we use in our products differently to most other suppliers. Rather than subscribing to the more modern approach of importing timber from overseas we believe in using timber grown here in the UK. Not only does this drastically reduce the carbon footprint of the timber having travelled a much shorter distance but you have the satisfaction of working with a material that has a legacy with the land that it has grown upon.
